The Story

News From Nowhere are a musical project based in and around the Hertfordshire area. The creative aspect of News From Nowhere is made up of three individuals. News From Nowhere have a professional attitude when it comes to working with new venues and promoters, as well as very good relationships with existing venues/promoters.

News From Nowhere formed as a result of repeated let downs by other band members, and mutual frustration and annoyance to our current cultural decline, We thought it was time to get serious and get to work.

After setting up a small recording studio we set to work and wrote all the material ourselves recording each instrument ourselves. The sounds we have created vary slightly, but essentially we mix Hip-Hop vocals with rock/metal guitars, prog rock synthesizers/electronics and simple song structure.  As you will hear from our CD, the music is different whilst retaining a "commercial edge".

Having now done a few gigs in London, News From Nowhere are looking to travel around the UK performing and to book up lots of local gigs.

Whilst the studio recordings have been produced and engineered by three people, the live show obviously comprises of more. Resulting in a great sounding CD coupled with a live set that will blow you away.
